Homeopathy 1 year Course

Course Overview

The program is designed to provide a deep foundation in the principles and practice of homeopathy based on the original teachings of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann. It uses a hybrid learning model, combining face-to-face classes at the Tsim Sha Tsui Center in Hong Kong with online Zoom sessions.

  • Clinical Experience: Includes 100 hours of clinical practice and assistance in live case-taking.

Curriculum Syllabus

The course is divided into 12 major modules:

  1. Philosophy & Concepts: In-depth study of the Organon of Medicine.
  2. Materia Medica: Detailed study of 50+ remedies and the "mind method."
  3. Patient Management: The art of case-taking for acute and chronic diseases.
  4. Repertorization: Use of classic (Kent, Boger) and digital repertories (Synthesis, Complete).
  5. Anatomy & Physiology: Study of body systems and relevant pathologies.
  6. Homeopathic Pharmacy: Preparation of potencies, tinctures, and ointments.
  7. Nosodes: Study of remedies like Tuberculinum and Syphilinum.
  8. Therapeutics: Application of homeopathy in acute conditions.
  9. Polychrest Remedies: Detailed study of major remedies (Aconite, Belladonna, etc.).
  10. Twelve Tissue Remedies: Biochemic theory and Schuessler salts.
  11. Practice Ethics: Guidelines on what to avoid in homeopathic practice.
  12. Prescribing Methods: Quick prescription and repertorization formats.

Schedule and Logistics (2025 Batch)

  • Total Hours: 116 lecture hours plus 3–12 hours of weekly home study.
  • Timing: Mondays from 19:00 to 22:00.
  • Trimester Timeline:
    • Trimester 1: September 2025 – December 2025
    • Trimester 2: January 2026 – April 2026
    • Trimester 3: May 2026 – August 2026
  • Software: Students are recommended to use Hompath Zomeo (available at a subsidized price).

Assessment

Students are evaluated through:

  • Multiple-choice questionnaires (MCQs) following each module.
  • Ongoing assignments.
  • A final assessment at the end of the full course to confirm clinical standards.
